A deposit cap is a spending decision made in advance and then enforced by the site rather than by willpower. Licensed operators are required to offer them across daily, weekly and monthly windows. Setting one takes under a minute and applies from the moment it is confirmed.
Setting Daily, Weekly And Monthly Caps
Limits stack rather than replace each other, and the tightest applicable cap is the one that binds. Anyone comparing these controls can Richard Casino and check the cooling period each site applies to increases. That asymmetry is intentional: lowering a limit protects instantly, while raising one is delayed by twenty four hours or longer so the decision is not made in the moment.
| Window | Common Range | Increase Delay |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | $10 to $500 | 24 hours |
| Weekly | $50 to $2,000 | 24 to 72 hours |
| Monthly | $100 to $5,000 | Up to 7 days |
- Daily, weekly and monthly caps can be combined
- Reductions apply at once, increases are delayed
- The tightest applicable limit is the one that binds
The value of a cap lies in the delay attached to raising it, which converts an impulse into a decision with time attached. Setting a figure that fits the household budget, and treating losses as the cost of entertainment, keeps play in proportion. Support services are available free of charge in every regulated market.
