A TAP Air Portugal anunciou o lançamento de uma nova rota direta entre Faro e Funchal, com início a 2 de junho.
A rota será operada até 11 de setembro, com dois voos semanais às segundas e quintas-feiras. À segunda-feira, o voo entre o Funchal e Faro tem partida marcada para as 20h50. No sentido contrário, parte às 23h15 do Algarve. À quinta-feira, parte do Funchal às 06h10 e de Faro às 08h35.
Os voos serão operados com aeronaves E190 de 106 lugares. Está previsto um total de 30 frequências, correspondentes a uma oferta de 3.180 lugares nos dois sentidos.
