Preparem-se para mais uma notícia cor-de-rosa: um verdadeiro Mundo da Barbie vai chegar aos EUA no próximo ano.
Integrado no VAI Resort, o Mattel Adventure Park terá passeios temáticos e atracções com a Barbie, Hot Wheels, He-Man e outros. O primeiro Mattel Adventure Park de sempre celebrará os maiores êxitos do fabricante de brinquedos quando abrir em Glendale, no Arizona, em 2024.
A zona da Barbie incluirá o Dream Closet Experience, “onde a Barbie, através de tecnologia de holograma de última geração, é trazida à vida para ajudar a criar o melhor guarda-roupa”, e o Barbie’s Flying Theatre, “onde os visitantes poderão experimentar os maiores êxitos dos destinos em que a Barbie se aventurou, como o espaço profundo e debaixo de água”. Também haverá um bar no telhado da Barbie Beach House, onde os visitantes poderão desfrutar das vistas do parque com uma variedade de bebidas cor-de-rosa exclusivas.
Para os menos interessados num mundo Barbie, há uma montanha russa de looping duplo e uma experiência de karting com o tema Hot Wheels; uma arena de laser tag baseada no Castelo Grayskull de Masters of the Universe (a série He-Man e She-Ra); e uma jornada de caça ao tesouro de Thomas and Friends.
Jogos populares como o Pictionary e o Uno serão também trazidos à vida através de estruturas de jogo e de escalada gigantes e de um campo de mini-golfe temático de nove buracos.
Este parque surge de uma parceria entre a Mattel e a EPIC Resort Destinations, a data exata da sua abertura ainda não foi divulgada, mas será em 2024.
Localizado a 20 minutos do Aeroporto Internacional de Phoenix Sky Harbor, o VAI Resort, do qual o Mattel Adventure Park é apenas uma parte, está destinado a ser o maior resort do Arizona, oferecendo mais de 1.100 quartos de hotel, 12 restaurantes, um local para concertos, uma piscina e uma praia artificial.
