O Aeroporto da Madeira voltou a receber os voos diretos da Brussels Airlines no passado sábado, dia 5 de abril, através de um Airbus A320neo, com capacidade para 180 passageiros. Para assinalar o momento, os passageiros foram recebidos no aeroporto com chocolates de frutos locais, durante uma tradicional cerimónia de corte de fita.
