A Ryanair anunciou planos para a sua maior operação de sempre em Marrocos no próximo verão, com a adição de 35 novas rotas, das quais três terão como destino Portugal.
O CEO da Ryanair, Eddie Wilson, descreveu o investimento da companhia aérea de baixo custo irlandesa em Marrocos ao longo de 2024 como “um dia histórico para a parceria entre a Ryanair e o Reino de Marrocos”. O investimento total chegará a 1,4 mil milhões de dólares (cerca de 1,3 mil milhões de euros), com a Ryanair a planear operar mais de 1.100 voos semanais para 175 rotas, incluindo as 35 novas rotas.
A Ryanair terá um total de 14 aeronaves baseadas em Marrocos no próximo verão, distribuídas entre sete em Marraquexe, três em Fez, duas em Agadir e duas em Tânger.
No próximo verão, as novas rotas entre Marrocos e Portugal incluirão Marraquexe – Faro, Tânger – Lisboa e Tânger – Porto, alargando ainda mais as opções de viagem entre os dois países.
