A Parques de Sintra junta-se às celebrações do Dia dos Avós, a 26 de julho, com um programa especialmente pensado para unir avós e netos na descoberta da vida no campo e criar momentos de partilha entre gerações. A atividade “Pão, Coentros e Bicharada – Especial Dia dos Avós”, agendada para as 10h30, na Quintinha de Monserrate, é conduzida por típicos saloios da região de Sintra, que, com muita diversão, mostram como se vive numa quinta e convidam os participantes a colaborar ativamente nas tarefas diárias.
Na companhia de Joaquim Farinhas e de Teresa Framboesa, os avós e netos vão poder amassar o pão e alimentar os animais no cercado. Antes de merendar o pão cozido no forno a lenha com uma limonada, há muitas surpresas e jogos tradicionais ao ar livre.
