Até aqui, a bagagem de mão tinha de respeitar as medidas de 40x30x15 centímetros. A partir de agora, passa a ser aceite até 40x30x20 centímetros — um aumento de cerca de 33% em volume, segundo a Ryanair.
De acordo com a companhia aérea low cost, cada passageiro pode continuar a levar uma peça gratuita a bordo, desde que caiba debaixo do assento. Quem quiser transportar uma mala adicional, terá de comprar o serviço de Prioridade de Embarque.
“Além disso, os passageiros também podem solicitar o check-in da bagagem durante o processo de reserva. Esperamos que os nossos clientes desfrutem destas peças de bagagem de mão gratuitas maiores”, explicou o diretor de Marketing da Ryanair, Dara Brady.
Os passageiros que não cumprirem “estes novos e generosos limites” terão de pagar a taxa de check-in da bagagem na porta de embarque, acrescentou o responsável.
