A Câmara de Lisboa quer impor a proibição de circulação dos ‘tuk tuk’ em 337 ruas de sete freguesias da capital através de um despacho que entrará em vigor a 1 de abril, noticia esta terça-feira, dia 11, o jornal Público.
O despacho assinado pelo vice-presidente da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa (CML), Anacoreta Correia (CDS-PP), responsável pelo pelouro da Mobilidade, visa sobretudo as ruas no centro histórico de Lisboa.
O despacho determina a proibição de circulação em várias vias das freguesias da Avenidas Novas, Arroios, Penha de França, São Vicente, Santo António, Misericórdia e Santa Maria Maior.
É nas freguesias de Santo António, Misericórdia e Santa Maria Maior que se concentra o maior número de arruamentos barrados aos ‘tuk tuk’ através da colocação de sinalização vertical.
Numa nota escrita enviada ao Público, Anacoreta Correia disse que o objetivo é “proteger os residentes da cidade em relação a excessos”.
