No sábado, 1 de abril (dia das mentiras) os parisienses foram surpreendidos por uma segunda torre Eiffel no jardim do Champ de Mars. Trata-se de uma obra do artista Phillipe Maindron.
Foi da noite para o dia que a capital francesa viu surgir uma réplica do seu monumento mais famoso. A miniatura tem apenas um décimo do tamanho da original, criada em 1889.
Na certidão de nascimento da obra, exposta aos passantes, surge horário da sua montagem ou ‘nascimento’ (5h25) e o peso: 23 toneladas.
Esta réplica da Torre Eiffel tem 3790 peças e 9465 parafusos e pode ser vista até segunda-feira, 10 de abril, depois será uma obra itinerante.
“Para mim, esta é uma oportunidade de iniciar a alegria, de fazer as pessoas sorrirem, de trazer alguma positividade em um contexto bastante sombrio”, sublinha Philippe Maindron, criador da Eiffela.
